I recently purchased a 2000 vette in a car lot and it did not come with the key for the wheel locks. i went to the local chevy dealership and they said that they could not sell me the lock key.
I would like to balance and align the car but I need the key to take the tires off. Is there anywhere I can find the key for my wheel locks?
The only alternative the alignment & balance guys gave me was to force the wheel locks out with a smaller socket using the air gun. However, I do not want them to possibly damage the wheels.
Not sure how good the wheel locks are (on any car). If anybody wants the wheels...they'll get them.
That said, I bought my car pre-owned. The previous owner (or their mech) didn't know how to operate wheel locks. They stripped the socket. I had NTB (I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!) take all the locking lugs off and put regular lug nuts on. So, that is one option.
Just don't have NTB do it. At least not in Dallas.

Similar problem is that my car was purchased with new rubber on the wheels and the owner did not have the key but if you have all the original paperwork on the car a notice is included that gives you a coded card to send in and get a new key. My problem was the tire shop had replaced the key lock and the BoZo owner failed to tell me he lost a replacement key not the original so a order using that coded card was a waste.
Any used car purchases check the key a key for fit and if was lost deduct $250.00 to get new keys and their install.

If it is a stock lock set, then the car came with a little piece of paper that said what the key number was and how to order a replacement. Check the documentation that the seller gave you to see if it is in there - if not, contact him and see if he perhaps still has it somewhere.
