2000 vette squeking noise
while driving slowly around city streets the vette squeeks. how can i fix this?

Is it engine related, suspension related, or wheels squeaking? Mine squeaks frrom the front wheels and I think it may be the wheel bearings but can't really narrow it down.

lube the sway bar bushings and see if that cures it

WD-40 the top bushings of the shocks, this will do it! Did for me, good luck...

how would I know if the car has the z51 option?...certain number/letter in the VIN?

Usually after storage the rubber bushings in the suspesion gets hard, use a silicon base on the rubber, then for the upper bushing I use white lithuim, WD40 is good but does dry to a coat sometimes, that will do the trick
