How do you remove a stick on dash kit? I tried a search and couldn't find anything. 7 years ago I had the dash overlay put on, door pieces, dash, radio surround, etc etc. Now I want to remove all of it. I tried to just pull one piece off and the door panel material ripped. Clearly that's not it! Anyone did this? Heat gun maybe? Thanks!
My suggestion is a heat gun to soften it and then pull. Mostenbock's Lift Off is a product the Home Depot sells to remove adhesive, ink, paint, etc. I have used it for MANY years, love it. Once you get the overlay off, this stuff will easily remove the residue.
I have literally used this stuff on everything from vintage toys to a Cadillac that someone spraypainted. Worked on all of them. Even interior fabric stains. Safer than goo-off type stuff.

Hope that helps, good luck,

Thanks! I'll try a test piece with the heat gun and the adhesive remover. If that turns out good I'll strip the rest. Appreciate the advice!
