[Z06] Interior Noise

Interior Noise

My Z06 starting squeaking yesterday. Comes from the trunk area when you hit a bump. Pretty loud squeak/chirp noise. I tried adjusting the couple trim pieces that are back there, but that didnt do it. Any ideas?

Never had an issue with my Z06 but w/ my C4 when it started making a lot of noise there were some screws VERY loose in the roof. Do a thorough inspection and make sure absolutely everything is TIGHT.

Have someone ride with you to try to isolate where it is coming from. If you can eliminate either the interior or exterior it will narrow down possibilities.

It sounds like its coming from the rear passenger side trunk area. I cant really put someone back there to check. I tightened the two plastic retaining screws that hold the trunk liner in and the noise went away for a day. Its back now.
