I am leaving the Country to work for up to 2 year. I will have to store my car at home in an unheated garage, the garage has a cement floor. I have heard people say to put plastic down and so on???, Any good sugestions would be great...Thanks
I would put stabil in the gas tank, consider putting the car on jack stands and maybe remove the battery. Any chance anybody can come by and start/drive your vette every now and then?

When I stored mine, I just put some old carpet squares under each tire, put Sta-Bil in the gas and put a cover over the car. I also did an oil/filter change. But I never stored it for two years or so. I might have a file I could send you on long term storage tips - PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
I've been out of country now for 4 months of a 3 year assigment. My C5's safely tucked away in my garage at my beach house in San Diego...no heat required. Did the StaBil gas treatment and have my wife, who's still home, fire her up once a week and my mechanic come drive it once a month...yes, I do trust my wife...not my mechanic!!
