Default May have to do the deed

Wife got laid off about 4 weeks ago, with 6.5 weeks of severance (sp?). We really concentrated last year on paying off her car (2005 330xi) and have that done as of March 13th 2009. This year was the vettes turn, but she is having a little trouble getting something else. We could make the payments, but after that we would have nothing left each month with the house and normal living stuff and I don't like living paycheck-to-paycheck. So I am giving her this week yet to find something and then I am going to have to put my baby up for sale. Hopefully i can get enough to cover the balance of the loan. Once we get back on our feet and have about $15,000 in savings, we are going to get something else. maybe just a 08' vert or something...

Sell her 330 and buy her something cheaper and put the rest in savings while keeping the vette.

I doubt I could peel her out of that one before we sell the vette. The vette is a weekend only car when the 330 is a DD for her, but that option is on the list if we need it. luckily its held its value pretty well.

You are in my prayers brother. Not sure of the unemployment laws where you reside, but here after your severance package is exhausted, then you qualify for unemployment.
I honestly think we should start a fund for people on here that get laid off...not anything huge, but like a 20 dollar gift certificate to a decent steakhouse or something...its the waiting and worrying that hurts the most.

God Bless!
