Default Wheels on a c5 corvette

some of you may know this, I was curious if an 18 by 10.5 will work for the front of a c5 corvette and maybe recommend a tire size to go along with it I was think a 275? any thoughts please let me know ?

Make sure the offset is correct. Also I think a 10.5 is too big for the front, but I could be wrong.

Wow, what wheels are you considering with such a long back order?

I feel like it may fit...but would probably rub...so I would stick w/the 9.5 up front.

^^There are people who track their cars that run 18 X 10.5 all the way around. So it can be done. However, I think they make stick out a little in the front and also you may have a problem with rubbing at full steering lock. If your tires stick out they will sandblast the fenders, which after a while won't look so hot.

I know a 275 on a 10" rim will fit under the front fender with no problems. Not sure about 10.5" rim.

The other thing you need to be aware of is to make sure the front tires have a smaller diameter than the rear. Many people recommend at least 1/2" difference. If you don't do this you can have problems with traction control. Traction control kicks on when the rears start spinning too much in relation to the fronts.

I have a 275 tire on my C5 mounted in an 18 X 9.5 wheel.

Additionally, I run 18s all around and have no problems (see tire wheel sizes in my signature).

Best of luck to you.
