Some people...
So I'm at this one person's house to get some paperwork.
His business partner (whom I know well) calls him while I'm there...
... the guy who I'm standing next to, starts laughing and says, "He says your car is from 1987"
... (I guess he found it funny)... mind you a few minutes before, he asked his GF to come outside to look at my car since. "It looks brand new! I wanna get something like this but my GF won't let me."
I said, " Tell him, I guess that's better than my clothes and haircut being from then huh? --- and maybe if he's good his GF will let him buy a Yugo", he hung the phone up after I said that.
Do people think since my car is gonna be 6 years old next month, that I'm supposed to run out and get a up to date one, just because it's "new?"
The guy cracking the jokes DOES NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT have a nice car --- nor does he retain possession of his nads since his GF moved in with him. I thought, even if I was driving a Lambo, he'd make some azzhat comment like that because he's jealous. He knows I have a Busa and SRT Charger, so I think his hating is compounding.
Am I right or wrong to think he's just jealous and won't ever be happy for someone who has more than him?

And love the 'haterade' term
I get comments like this from time to time from people, but wanted to throw this particular situation out there --- just to confirm my own thoughts. I didn't wanna come off pretentious about it, but the guys is all talk over the phone, but he won't make cracks around me 'cause I'll embarrass him more in person

Unless someone actually owns/owned one, I don't pay much attention Personally I could have purchased a C6 when I got my C5, I chose it because it was more to my liking
