So I finally made the jump into a 2004 Coupe on the 2nd of this month. Looked for the right one for months and months on end, and finally got it.
Black M6, with HUD and 2 tops. 1 Owner bought it when he was 72 brand new, and sold it on the 22nd of last month on a new Denali when he was 77. Very well taken care of with only 61,000 miles on it. Still trying to decide if I should make it my DD here in Missouri as the weather still causes problems even this late in the year.
So very exicted to say the least!
On a side note... I got the glass top on it the first time Saturday and when the windows are up it whistles. I'm assuming thats a problem with the weather stripping and it will leak?
And it feels great to be back in the brotherhood, haven't owned a Vette in several years.
Welcome to the party!! Sounds like you got a beauty!! Don't worry about regular driving in the mid-west. While your weather does seem to be a bit more erratic than here (the St. Louis area) all you have to do is leave her parked for a few days when it's really nasty,,other than that you're good to go. I've put close to 17K in 16 months since I got mine. Just drive like you have a little sense and you'll be fine. The tires do have a bit less traction when it's cold,,just don't get really silly,, They drive fine!! Enjoy your new ride!! This place has a wealth of help and information!!
Yeah when I get back home I will throw some up. Sadly I just have several pictures of her in the garage atm. Between snow/flurry mix the 2nd day after I bought her she really hasn't been out of it much. But we have great car driving weather right around the corner.
