Dyno-Day 18 April.

NorthernCT Posse Dyno-Day
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I work with a speed shop in Sterling, Mass, Enhanced Street Performance. They have a state of the art dyno ( Mustang 1100 SE AWD ). Unlike other dynos that rely on the inertia of the roller to provide resistence needed to measure horsepower
the Mustang uses an eddy current to appy load allowing for steady-state and part throttle tuning/fuel calibration, true road load simulations, 1/4 mile passes and more.
I am looking to see how many would be interested in going up and having a dyno-day. I need a minimum of 10 maximum of 15. Cost is normally 75 dollars but we can get 3 pulls for 60 bucks ( or 2 pulls and a quarter mile pass); also included would be a BBQ (hot dogs/hamburgers). You will also get printouts showing HP and torque and quater mile results.
We should get there by 9:30 am ; it is about 1hr 20 minute ride from Glastonbury, CT. It will take about 30-45 minutes per car.
If 10 are interested we have to decide if we caravan up there or go separately. Some people may want to show up later in the day because they don't want to wait around for their turn. I can schedule times for each individual if the prefernce is not to caravan.
To those early risers I suggest breakfast at the Brass Key in Manchester, CT. at 7:15, we head out at 8 am, get there about 9:20.
Others that want to go up later can do so on there own.
We can also have a prize for those doing the quarter mile. Everyone kicks in 10 bucks; you write down what you think you will turn in the quarter mile. The closest to their time wins....you run lower than your 'guessed' time and you are an automatic loser.
We have 7 signed up and would like to get 3 more. If you are interested, go to the thread in the Northeast section and let's talk there.
