That's the clear center #. I tried for 9 wks to get that one. MCM was having lot's of problems producing that type so I went with the non-clear, which is really a bummer. I needed to get my car back together and couldn't wait any longer. But their normal hood is still a fantastic piece of work!
I gave it a shot..ordered it on Feb.10. 9wks later MCM calls me yet again to tell me that the third (yes,3!) hood came out bad. Car was at a body shop(since Feb 9) and I needed a hood to start the process. So They gave me (MCM) a nice deal for my troubles and I went with the non-clear. I have to tell you, This is a sharp looking hood I can't wait to get it painted. The shop as of yesterday did all the finial alignments (both fenders, bumper, and hood) and hopefully today they can start the paint work! Keep an eye out for my "Finished Project"!
Excuse my ignorance, but do these hoods vent the under hood area?
Yes, they vent the air that builds under the front of the car. When I bought mine a few years ago they said it does help at high speed. I love mine but secretly wish I had gotten the clear center section .
