I live in Texas, so I do run the risk of being pulled over for no front plate. I luckily haven't been pulled over yet, but just in case I had to leave the tabs on there for a front plate. I ended up cutting as much as I thought I can and just painted the rest black. The painting was the scariest part because I was worried about overspray, but it went over really well
It's my first non-reversible mod on the Vette and I'm happy with it. I don't expect any actual performance increases, but it does look pretty cool. I'd like to put the screens in the fog light area, but I have a K40 radar detector and laser difuser there and I'm not sure if the metal mesh will effect them or not.

Looks good, I have the same Mod, and that will get you some extra outside cold air to your filter.
Yaa, I haven't felt any difference but really I didn't expect to. The engine is pretty much stock so I have no intercooler to cool down. Next on my list is a new air intake so maybe I'll feel a difference there.
