It looks like he left the center piece of the airdam, which is the part that channels air into the radiator. It doesn't look like this piece would do anything negative to the airflow into the motor.

I believe this piece is real carbon from what I remember reading in previous posts about it. I may have to pick one up one day.

If you want to purchase this splitter, PM CF member "Torch FRC". He makes them in his shop in California. He will tell you the cost. The splitter is real carbon fiber. Air dams remain in place on the car and are not affected by installing the splitter.

i removed the two side pieces which deflect air around the tires, not the center piece which draws air into the radiator.
