I am planning a trip to the plant and museum in Bowling green. I am considering either the Hampton inn,the Baymont Inn or the Homestead b&B. Any recommendations???
Thanks in advance.
I've stayed at both the Hampton and Baymount, next door to eachother, close to restrauants and a short drive to the Museum.
The B&B sounds good, the Country Inn is right on the curve at the Museum, which across from the assembly plant. Check to see if the plant is up and running during your dates. You'll enjoy it.

Oldad - I am considering going sometime during the next 2 weeks before the next scheduled plant shutdown and do hope to catch an afternoon tour.
Evil C5 & Poolboy- I agree w/ you. Next to finding a nice place my wife would like, staying at a forum friendly place is a major consideration. I remember reading posts from a prior Cruise in that one of the inns werent to fond of some of the members "traction tests" done at their parking lot.(I guess thats what Poolboy was refering to ?)
I was also looking into the Homestead B&B because I understand its run by a director of the NCM, but may be a little further south than the Hampton???. Is that correct?
Last year my wife and I visited the NCM and Plant but balked at the highrates wanted by the hotel/motels at that exit. I was advised (by someone on the Forum) to check out the Bryce Inn. It is 10 miles further up the Interstate (exit #38) as it is owned by a Corvette family. At that time the rate was $55/nite! We did stay there and was pleasantly surprised by not only the motel itself but the owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. They have a restored '65 couple and even supplied us with a bucket for washing our car! I went on line and the rate is now up to $74 but probably still much lower than the others. Call 270-563-5141 and check them out.
