That happens all the time here in north carolina...yacking and/or texting on their cell phones, with no regard for anyone else on the roads/highway.
Like others have said, ENSURE that both you and your family are ok...(esp since if injuries show up later and you have to be out of work). Take care brother.

That sucks, especially knowing it was completely out of your control, nothing you could do to prevent it.
Sorry for your losses, hope they don't decide to total the car with damage to so many different body parts.

That's almost a given,,especially if it was a female!! Going home EVERY woman I passed was yakking on a cell(except one that was dialing-didn't look like she was texting). It's gotten to the point where I almost wish they hadn't been invented. Illinois is trying to introduce legislation to out law texting while driving!! It's a sad day when government has to start outlawing STUPIDITY!!!

Happened to us at a stop light last Oct. and we're both still doctoring, my wife's neck and back and my right shoulder--$9000 damage. Car is repaired but I have some psychological issues with it. Also don't forget about diminished value for your car. Mine lost about $5000 for trade in according to local Chevy dealer. Go after the other ins. co. for that as I will do after the medical problems are addressed. Can they total yours? Good luck.

glad you are ok, the car will get fixed, maybe you will get some cool mods out the repairs. Not to start any drama, but the previous post about sueing the guy, that attitude is why all of us pay more for insurance. If you are ok and your car gets fixed, then all is good.After all, Im sure the guy didnt WANT to get in an accident, or maybe he did?? good luck
