Paint question

I'm looking at a black C5. It's got lots of little paint chips. How much of that can I expect to buff out and how do I do it?

What's up with the Search function? I'm getting no results for "paint". That seems unlikely.

Click for advanced search.
Type in what your looking for.
Then go to Search Option (Bottom left)
Select Sort results by Relevancy

This is about the only way I have been able to find what I want on the search option.

doubt you will have much luck buffing out paint chips

Not happening. If it's a light nick then maybe. If you can feel it with a finger nail then chances are it's touchup paint time.

And I can personally vouch that dried white wax in paint chips stand out very nicely.

Thanks for the help gang. Looks like I'm outa the black car game. It's going to be an all-weather daily driver on some pretty gnarly roads. It's back to silver, white or champagne, the colors I usually work with. Still gotta take care of 'em, but a little more forgiving.
