How to install flush mounted taillights?
So, I found a flush mounted taillight kit that I bought back in 2007 when I first got my car and never installed it.
I have the longer screws and the adapter things. I have 6 long and 2 short adapters.
Does anyone know offhand where the short ones go?
Yes, my car is outside in the driveway. But it's cold out, and I'm sure someone knows offhand...

the shorter spacers are teh two OUTER most, the other 6 are the middle ones. its a bitch to line them up though :-P be ready to drop at least one and fish for it. Go get some window weather stripping while you are there to seal ehm at teh same time. use alcohol to clean the lights first for a good contact.

A little tip,,,,while each one is out,,take a drill and make a small hole or two in the low point of the inner lip of the light pocket!! It really helps the water drain when you wash the car. You really don't need the taillight seals then!!
