Fast Flashing Left turn only?!
Hey guys, posted this over in C5 Tech but haven't gotten any results, so I thought I'd post it over here...
Anyway, I recently did TheRadioFlyer's Halo mod (which are sweet btw) and I am upgrading my cutouts with the QTP controller from the regular toggle switch. I installed a relay using this brown wire on the ignition (not sure what it does) as a trigger as suggested by another forum member.
The halo install went off without a hitch and last night I was finishing up my controller install when I accidentally hit the turn signal stalk with my arm. When the blinker came on, it was very fast
. I tried the right turn signal and it blinks regularly.
I checked the taillights and they were working normally (all 4) and the front turn signal bulbs (factory amber, not switchback LED's) were both working. I hooked up the relay to both the QTP controller and my cove neons (which work fine). Any ideas? I realize Corvette Enhancements has the relay to stop this, but the thing that bugs me is only one side does it! Did I mess something up with the trigger wire? What exactly did I tap into? Thanks in advance!
