Default BFG KDW IIs - tread pattern question

Ok, have you seen that Seinfeld episode where Jerry meets the girl and she looks really hot until she gets in a certain light and then looks bad? I am having the same relationship with my KDWs.

While I think the tread pattern is pretty awesome and they handle and grip great there are times when I am walking up to my car and I just don't know when I will get used to the look. My co-worker summed up what I was feeling the other day at work when he asked me if I had snow tires on the vette. Ugh.

I am just wondering if there are any other KDW II owners out there who went through a similiar experiance as they got used to the new look. I imagine the GS-3 and Nitto Invo owners had the same type of experiance since those patterns are quite a departure from "the norm".

Anyone else? I can't be the only **** crazy one on here.

Not that is matters but my setup is 275/35/18-18x10, 295/35/19-19x11 on CCW SP500s.

I don't have them on my car, but I think they have a cool "exotic" sort of look to them. I like them.

First off, YES I have seen that episode and it is hilarious. And second I do have the same tires and love the tread pattern.

Here's a picture on my car.

They look like flames, kinda cool. I have the D3's and love the pattern.

Plus once you start to rack up the miles on them they get noisy.

I have always thought they looked like truck tires.

One of my favorite tires for the vette. If they made them in the sizes I now run, I'd still be running them.

WGAF what someone else thinks!

Totally - when you see the tire pattern from top to bottom it really does give you the impression of flames.

I have them on the front of my car and I couldn't be happier with the pattern, ride or handling. I will buy them again.

I do not like the tread design, it probably does not help running a 295 on a 11" wheel either, they always look stretched to me.

I've got 400 at the rear wheels and 4.10's. I never have a problem getting traction with my 295's. What width do you run?
