Hey guys, I am just about to get back on the road after a loooong winter and found half a clutch spring on the floor. Should I have it replaced or live with it. Can anything else be damaged without? I never noticed any difference clutching, how much am I looking at to have it replaced. I couldnt possibly fit in to replace it myself. Thanks, Rob

It costs 10 bucks and change. Install is fairly simple with the hard part being laying on your back under the dash. You don't need the spring. Many remove it. I replaced mine because I don't care for a stiff pedal. Stop by and I'll put it in for you. hahaha
Seriously there is no harm leaving it out, you still have half of it in there. There is a recent thread with pictures.
Boy that offer to stop by sounds great! LOL. I did not notice any difference since and was surprised to find it on the floor. I did hear a snap sound and thought it didnt sound good though. I am a large guy and just trying to look up and see where that spring might be located will require a chiroparactor. Thanks for your suggestion and I will leave it as is. Greetings, Rob
I removed the return spring on my clutch pedal, it was rubbing the turnbuckle of the Tick adjustable master cylinder I installed. I found the pedal to be a bit firm but have grown to like it.
