[Z06] Sound from Engine, injectors?

Sound from Engine, injectors?
I am newb z06 owner and have a problem. when I am sitting in my car, with the radio off and just the sound of the engine, I hear what seems to be a tapping sound. Looking over other threads, I want to say that its the injectors, but i wanna be sure so I don't ignore a major problem. Could you guys help me out and tell me what the sound is? On a side note, can I run 93 octane in my car or should I just leave it alone with 91? Would I see any performance difference?

The injectors make a clicking sound, if you want to check the noise get a peice of hose or a pice of wood like a broom handel, and place it on one of the injectors, and see if the injector noise matches your noise.
Just remember they are eight little noise makers so listen carefully.
