Too customized..stripes,chrome,murals..NOT for me..sorry...I like them just the way they were made....cars good for shows only....have any of these ever been driven or just trailer queens...???
Definitely some great looking cars, but the show in my opinion came up way short. There were hardly no vendors selling accessories etc.. I was ready to buy... I have to agree, it'll will be the last time I fork out $40 for this show too! Thank goodness it was a beautiful day to spend on the boardwalk !
Look this was the first year, give them a break. Next year they will have more of the convention center for vendors and cars. This was a big undertaking. You have to start somewhere. Over 7k people came through the gate in two days. The cost of renting a space that big for 3 days is big $$$$$$. More Corvette vendors will come if they see it puts money in their pockets. For a first time event it was very nice. As for the cost, take your $40.'s to a casino and see how long it lasts, $40's for an hour of more looking at nice cars, or 10 minutes looking at a slot.......

Also they will be looking at the cost of attendance with the intent of making it a more affordable entry fee. If you had registered thru the forum it was only 15.00 per person, so 30.00 was the way to go. Also you could have entered your car in the display area like I did and that was available at no change to you. So you were able to show off your car for 2 days, (bringing it in on Friday), and possibly getting a trophy, and hanging out with your friends for no charge with 2-3 passes, (you your wife and your kids).
It was the first year and they had a great event with some of the best vender there in attendance. I know that next year all the venders will be looking at attending since this years event was a great success.

Hey Bill,
You know, you're right. I didn't realize this was the first year for this show. I'm glad to see that they had that many people come through the gate. We were there on Saturday and the crowds seemed very small. I hope it's something they can build on every year. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
