Need Help With Vararam!
Guys,
got a 03 Z, used with a Vararam installed into it already. Need help w/ a few things...
How do you get the cowl (the part with the VARARAM sticker) off to change/clean the filter? (take the entire airtube off, or just take off the wiring harness, etc?)
Also, noticed the sealing/ weather stripping foam has started to go ka-put. Any ideas how to keep this from happening?

You should be able to unclamp the red coupler and then the tabs on the side of the airbox and lift the lid off
Clean the filter (if it is a green filter, replace it)

Lightly oil it and replace.
Might as well clean your MAF while you are at it.
If you need to replace the seals, use Frostking 3/16 weather stripping. You can get it at Lowes or HD for about 3 bucks
