I already have a glass top that I got with the car when I bought, and I don't have any problems with it. Recently, I bought a lightly used painted top from a fellow CFer. After having it repainted to fix a damaged front driver's corner, I was testing it out yesterday.
First, I noticed it seems difficult to push the rear in far enough for the front to drop in to place. When I do get it back far enough, it still seems to catch just to the inside of the driver's latch. Can that be corrected?
Second, I now have a whistle coming from the passenger side. I do not see any gaps. Suggestions? I have seen the threads on adjusting the window tip-in, but I don't think it's necessary since the glass top fits just fine.
