Hi All!!
Just finished with a Level 5 Monster and i am to say the least very impressed and ecstatic about the initial drive in the Z06....I have driven many cars with PUCK style clutches and i hated them.. But there is something goin on right with this set-up.. And i like it...
The pedal pressure feels almost as stock as it can be..My Daughter (105 lbs.)drove this car and said that it was easier than her Z28!!!!
The Test drive showed very VERY SLIGHT chatter and was almost undetected with the right RPM,s and clutch release.. No jerking,no jumping My wife could drive it very easily!!!!! People have asked for some test results and they will be coming on this one next week.. Beach trip planned for the weekend... That should get some city driving and some miles on it 600-700 by Tuesday!!!!
Some pics of the install for you to check out... Mike Yeager@ EastCoast Performance (1-864-404-1776) handled all the Questions the customer had and did a GREAT JOB working with Him.. Clutch was recieved in A fast manner and installed as quickly... IM SOLD on the MONSTER!!!!!! Thanks also to MONSTER for Manufacturing a Great Product... Next Test DRAGSTRIP!!!!!!
The fluid evac is what we use to pull the fluid thru the system...They cost less than 75 bucks and do a great job of pulling fluids out.... You can also use the speed bleeder as it has a check ball in side to do it with one person.. Just make sure you pump it slow and have the hose in a container where fluid cant get out...
On a new hydraulic system you can open the bleeder and submerge the bleeder under the fluid and thus no air can enter that way either...
Remember theirs only 2 sides to milk a cow from... The tail side will not be fun!!!!
