Default Switch Pace Car system for Ti

Well folks, after a couple of years with my Pace car exhaust I decided to go with a milder system. I refused to go back to the stock mufflers therefore I shopped around for a Ti. After following a few threads about exhaust notes I decided the Ti was the one for me. I local purchased a really good Ti system from a Forum member a few weeks ago for an unbelievable price. I switched out my Corsa Pace Car exhaust for the Ti system today and I feel like someone cut off my nuts. I got that feeling like people are going to laugh at me or something. When I drove home from the auto craft shop on base tonight, it just wasn’t the same. I really miss the crack of the Pace Cars at full throttle. I also liked the look on people’s faces as I idle next to them at the stop light. On a bright note it seems like the Ti system flows better than the Corsa’s. I don’t feel a “seat of the pants” or “neck snapping” improvement, however the engine and throttle seems to be more responsive. In addition, I could not believe the weight difference between the Ti and Corsa systems. The Corsa system feels like a ton compared to the Ti's. The exhaust tips on the Ti system look adequate enough for me, however you can’t beat the beefy look of the Pace Car tips either. I’ll be going to LT headers and high flow cats soon, so I’m hoping some of the grunt will come back.

BTW, my Pace Car system will be on sale in a few days after I get them cleaned off. I’ll post a new thread on the parts for sale section. Have a good one.
