Lighted Flame Ball - Difficult to Install?

This is going to require me to splice into some sort of electrical line. Now I enjoy DIY projects, but I'm a bit intimidated screwing around with wires and electronics. This car is my DD.
How do I obtain wire schematics or instructions on how to install the light? I haven't bought it yet, but I want to make sure I fully understand what I'm doing before I make the purchase.
Thanks!

Edit: Here's some info from their site:
How do the shifters light up?
Most of the gearshift ***** offered by Central Manufacturing Company light up at night with the use of a 14-volt light bulb which is included with the ****. The light-up system we use consists of the 14-volt light bulb (about the size of a piece of rice), a "hot" wire, and a "ground" wire. The light bulb is threaded into the center of the shifter by use of a "wormhole" constructed through the shifter, the "hot" wire is connected to the vehicles power supply or other DC power source, and the "ground" wire is connected to the vehicle chassis. With the use of our light-up system, the light passes through the shifter's translucent colors and creates the unique effect of a glowing shifter. At night the shifter will glow the same color as the shifter. For some shifters such as our pewter series, we mould tiny mirrors at the bottom of the shifter which provides indirect light to the pewter figurines.
How do I connect the light-up system?
We recommend wiring the light-up system (provided with purchase of light-up shifter) into the parking lights. Once the parking lights are turned on, the shifter will light-up! Other optional are available. For instance, you can wire the system right into the fuse box and use a toggle switch to turn the light on or off.

The wiring is easy. Just a simple power and ground. I spliced into one of the wires for the ac/heater control unit (found one that activates with the interior lights and parking/headlights activated). That way when driving at night it is always "on".
I've gotten lots of compliments on it over the years. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure and pull the bulb back out of the **** before trying to unscrew the **** to remove it. My dad was helping me one day doing something that required us to remove the center console. He immediately began to unscrew the **** and the bulb cracked. Had to replace it (but no big deal really).
