I went haulin *** into a car wash to avoid hail in my first car (Nissan truck). I hit a metal trash can gaurd in the process which tore up the bedside. Hail would have been much more pleasant.

SPILL THE BEANS!

I left a bottle of cleaner on my seat when I went to work yesterday. It got almost 90* here yesterday and I didn't crack window. When I came out to my car later,I opened the door and found a pool of cleaner and the "leather" peeling.

Had a bottle of Torch Red touchup paint laying in the back that I used for my caliper lettering, and apparently I'd screwed the lid on too tight, and the lid cracked, and it all leaked out onto the black carpet.
Got in the car that morning, and thought to myself "gee,it really shouldn't smell like paint in here, wtf?"
Looked pretty bad,but i got it all out with lotsa rags and some lacquer thinner.
Now anything like that goes in a plastic bag in the storage compartment...

Cut a right turn out of a parking lot too tight and jumped the concrete curbing taking a nasty bite out of my lower right rail behind the door sill.

Wish I had had some frame savers installed ;^(

after washing my first Corvette an 84 with a wing on the back in one of those wand washing bays. I hung the wand up but as I pulled out the hose got caught in the wing and tore the rear bumber two inches fron the rear fender. That was awsome

Scraped the edge of the door against something in the garage, and scraped the concrete curbing and have some good scratches under the nose.

One day, a few years ago, I hop into my Z28 and start to back out and... SMASH! The driver side t-top shatters. A few weeks previously I had installed a wiffle ball on a string to use as a guide for parking the car in the garage. Well the wiffle ball got caught inside the car when I closed the door and when I backed out the string tightened until it pulled the eye screw out of the ceiling where it then smashed into the t-top. It cost about $350 to fix that mistake.

OUCH!! the odds have to be against ever doing that again. To the OP stuff happens and may cost some money to fix it, BUT you live to see another day.

Not me ,but neighbor/buddy finished washing his WS6 TA and thought he would be cute and spin around (doughnuts) to help dry it off. He ran over his wash bucket trapping it underneath the front fascia and proceeded to gun it for a few minutes it did put a ton of scratches/scuffs and a small tear in the plastic. I felt bad but was laughing so hard I DON'T THINK HE BELIEVED ME. Within a week we had it looking good again.

Let my GF at the time drive my C3 for the day, she called me to let me know it started smoking, but its OK she only drove it 2 more miles to get it home.

Yeah, that came to a nice total, and never let anyone drive my cars anymore... Specially GF'S!

My dad is the only person that has driven my car for any period of time other than in a driveway. He had a '68 vert so he knows what's up.

I left my C5 in nuetral w/o pulling the handbrake in my garage overnight. It rolled back into the garage door. The next morning I didnt notice this until I pressed the button to open the garage door and heard it scraping the paint off my rear bmpr Times like those Im glad I have a bodyshop lol.
