Well today i got into my car as i turn my wipers on it didnt want to work i was moving the lever up an down .... nothing was happening. After 5 minutes the wipers were moving but it was in the off position. an now the wipers wont stop working they move side to side ..... its my car posses or is their something wrong with my electrical ... neeed somee help please cause seen the wipers move drive me crazy even tho it stop raining
You may want to check and make sure your cowl drain"udders" arent stopped up and allowing water to short out your wiper mtr!
thanks for the advise but i dont know were the cowl drain "udders are at" is their a picture or something that i can follow up cause its driving me crazy!!
I had a similar problem in a few other GM vehicles I had before. It was common for GM wiper motors to flake out, work intermittently, not shut off, etc.
At the time I pulled out the wiper control board from the module and simply re-soldered all the connections. Never had another problem. Not sure if the vette motors have the same issues, but it's worth a shot if all else fails.

well im just pist !!! because my father an i were working on it an he tells me that the problem is the lever where it controls the wipers speed in the steering wheel .because i can adjust the speed of the wipers when im moving the lever up which is fast but when it comes to turning it off welll......it dosent it just puts it on slow motion... the fuse for the wipers is good but i just give up!! any other suggestion before they screw me at the dealership!
