I saw that article as well and didnt like it.
General Motors will soon be Government Motors and will build what it wants the public to own,not want the buyers want to drive.
Its unfortunate ,but under government ownership the days of corvette,camaro,challenger and Cadillac may be numbered.
Is this the change America voted for?

What's next? If people stand by and let this happen, they shouldn't be surprised when the gov't shows up at your door to take your hot rods. Of course you won't be able to stop anything because they will have already taken your guns.
Maybe they won't actually show up to take them, they'll just make state emmisions inspections so hard to pass that you can't legally inspect them.
Here's a little history....
Right before Hitler rounded up all the "non-Aryans", he took up all the guns. Right before he did that? Yep, he had everyone register their guns.
See any similarities? Here, make sure all your cars pass emissions and record all the data associated (address, VIN etc). Now, let's kill off those "offenders"....Nah, they'll never go for it unless you tell them we're killing the Earth....
Any "offending" cars still registered in the system? Oh, let's go get them....

Just over half of this country voted for change!!!!
I guess the lower half better wake up and vote for change in 2012!!

next they will go after the oil companies, say that they are a threat to the economy because gas is to cheap to make people buy their idea of a car. what is crazy is that Man made Global Warming is like the emperors clothes not real, but no ones dares say it.

This thread actually scares me a bit, because it is easy to get caught up in the day to day hustle of life and before you know it, some of these things we are talking about happen right under our noses. What this country needs is to be truly "United" again, like that will ever happen.... And to any of you that voted for change....thanks alot!

Well, personally, I don't think America has gone to hell under the current administration, all in 100 days, this has been brewing for decades, under different administrations, and greedy millionaires who can't get enough, and the greedy "lifetime" politicians they have in their pockets.
