I had a '93 for a DD from 2005-2008. It was great fun and reasonably dependable. I have switched to a C5 and it makes a much better DD in almost every way.

Go with the Vette - I had a '95 coupe (non-Z51) and it was a very fun car to drive. Very reliable too.
