An easier way to get access that I found was to flip up the head lamp and remove the black plastic cover that goes on the side of the housing (3 philips screws). Once the trim is removed you can reach down through the opening and get access to the corner light. You can undo the spring and the 7mm and the 10mm from inside the bumper cover.
Once the light is loose flip it on its side (still on the inside of the bumper cover) and and get the two 7mm that hold the lens to the housing bracket by reaching an extension through the now created corner lamp opening. Pull light though corner light opening.
It is hard to explain but easy to do. No jack, no removing paneling and taking off wheels, no retorqueing lugs. Took me maybe a half hour to swap mine out.

That is certainly a different approach that I did. I drove the front up on ramps. I took off the bottom access panel. It was real easy except for the inner bolt holding the corner lights on. The first side was a real pain in the butt. After I figure out how to get a ratchet on the bolt, the second side went easier, but still not fun. In the end, it was quality time with the car, and I am happy with the look.
