Have a 99 coupe...38,000 miles. On a cold motor the car always runs around 38 at idle and climbs to 45 of so with rpm. Last few days it's been around 41/42 at idle and shoots all the way up to 59 or so with rpm. After the motor warms it settles down to around 55/56 with rpm and around 40/41 at idle. Oil level is dead on and is reasonable fresh???
Do I have a problem???

 

seems fine , usually when it pegs 80+ is when you know the oil pressure sensor is dead


what oil?

Any other input out there???? Was somewhat alarming to see such a drastic difference all of the sudden??

 

Mine reads pretty much the same!!
