Been looking for a nice modded 02-04 Z and I found one local its electron blue with mod red insides and it is in my state. Has anyone ever converted one of these over ? Or is it something I should forget about.
I'm in Ohio, near Columbus. I have not bought the car but will be talking to the owner. His price is a little more then I wanted tp spend. He always had covers on the seats so I know it was taken care of.
The mod red interior is the most sought after interior of all the different colors. There are members that have spent hundreds, even a couple of thousand to change their black interior to mod red. If you decide you don't want the mod red you should have no trouble swapping it out. I bought my car new and mod red wasn't available on the coupe, I have since replace mine to a variation of the mod red interior.

Err, ahh, umm, what I meant to say was that interior is horrible, you should buy the car and get rid of that interior as fast as you can, no matter how much it cost you.

That's more like it! I sure would love to accommodate FSTWS6 and help with his dilemma.
I cant believe all the replies from everyone wanting the red interior. He wont budge from the price so I'm still looking . At least I know I wont have a problem finding someone to do a swap if it came to that.

No reason to forget about the swap - if all black is what you like, then go for it. I personally went the other way on my last C5 - had all black and went mod red.

I'd think the Blue and Red would be ugly as you'd get. Now in a Black or Torch Red car the Red would look good. My opinion of course and to each his own.
