Carmine Red Corvettes
In 98 they made I think 1567 in the lt. Carmine Red just curious how many on the forum there are?

I had a 97. Unfortunately she met her demise from bald tires and an inexperienced driver... Now have a Torch 98.

Is carmine red different from mag red II? Looks the same as my car but my code says magnetic red II.

YES. Carmind red was the darker red from the earier C5 years. Mag Red I and Mag Red II came later.

GM only made that color(lite carmine red met.) for 2 years 97-98. A friend of mine has a mag red II coupe, we put them side by side and the color is VERY different.
