camshaft install
Does anyone know if cam install is possible without engine remaval in the C5? How much front end removal is required. Has any of the forum folks done this and did any photo recording of this?

Here's a couple of pics of my cam swap:
We also did heads, intake, throttle body, injectors, thermostat, headers, oil pump and timing chain to name a few - hence the more thorough tear down.

I just did a head and cam swap witu the engine installed and used the instructions in LS1tech. The hardest thing I fought was getting the crank pulley off. If you follow the instructions in LS1tech its not hard and very rewarding.
