Hey guys...Just wanted anyone's input. I found a dealership that only sells top quality imports and Corvettes in Illinois online. They have a 2001 quicksilver convertible with only 10,000 miles on it. From the pictures it looks mint. Absolutely beautiful car. They are asking $26,700 for the car. Does that sound like a reasonable price for that mileage? The dealership is 900 miles from where I'm located. That's one problem.
I would never buy a car without seeing it. Any info you guys have would be greatly appreicated. By the way, the history report on the car says everything positive about it. Thanks for your help.
sounds just a bit high but nice low mileage cars like that are hard to come by. You might want to also check out Corvette Place on the internet in Austin Texas and deal with only low mileae cars. Good luck.
I just traded in my mint quicksilver 01 vert with 7,400 miles on it. The dealer sold it in a few days, and was asking 25,640 or something like that. So this one seems a little high in comparison
I offered on here for much less -- but not enough bites.

Where's the dealer? Maybe someone can check it out for you.
Beautiful Vette you have...Thanx for the input.. I thought it was a tad high myself..The dealer is in Burbank, Illinois. I'm in NJ. Go on carsourseusa.com and check this car out and the others he has. I didn't want to spend quite that much myself.
I just picked up a 2004 convertible with 6,300 miles for $27,000. Private owner. That's what he had it advertised for firm. I think I got a pretty darn good deal. That price seems a little high for an 01.

I flew up to Chicago and visited Carsource. I didn't end up buying the vette I was looking at -but it was only because I found another one with the exact options I was looking for. The Carsource team were professional and informative. The owner has a vette modified which he races-: They have excellent low mileage sportscars. They even drove me back downtown to Chicago- 45 minutes drive- even though I didn't buy. I will check them out again before I purchase my next vette.
Thanks for all your replies. I found out late yesterday that the car has been sold. I'm not sure exactly what it sold for but I think it was in the neighborhood of $26,000. I've never been to carsourse in person, but I did hear some good things about them. The cars they sell seem to be in very good shape. They have at least 10 to 15 cars on Ebay as of the time I'm writing this post. I will continue to take my time looking until I find the right one. Thanks again, guys.

Just bought 2002 black convertible with 30,000 miles for $19000 private sale keep looking.
I never understand a vette that age with that few miles. I've now got 50,000 on my 2004. Have a new Caddy in the garage but given the choice the vette's rolling ... top down if weather permits.
I paid $20k for my 98 convertible with only 11,700 miles. The car was so clean that it look brand new and took first place in Street Machine in the Custom Car & Bike Show.
