ive had a bunch or 240SXs and a 350Z i drifted.
i now have a C5 and will be drifting it too.
i didnt see a section for it on the forum, but figured some people might do it.
i know that corvette people tend to be more into meets and classic car shows, but was hoping to maybe get some people into it.
engishtown holds monthly events in a big open parking lot with cones. i figured more corvette people would give it a shot if there was no risk of walling ur pride and joy. just cones
also, anyone know if someone makes a more agressive shoe for the ebrake???
dude you certainly don't need an ebrake to drift these cars... how do i know? I have no idea
have you ever actually drifted?
unless youre good and enter early with a clutch kick u'll need the ebrake. u aklso need it to correct.
one big sloppy power slide is not drifting.
yup i drift quite often and never needed the ebrake or clutch kick... I'm on 285/30/20's and i have no problem, then again I'm young and not many older folks are into this stuff.

if just slam the gas to enter then u might call it drifting, but it's weak drifting at best. as long as youre having fun out there.
say im about to drift a right hand corner... I turn left before i get into the corner, then quickly right and give some throttle to kick the *** end out and hold it.
I drift all the time in my C5 going a little to fast on curvy roads and drift across the yellow line. If you mean power sliding around corners chewing up tires you need no special skill or equipment in a Vette – just hold on tight.
there is a factory backed solstice that is actually competitively drifted in the national formula drift series!
driven by ryan tuerk of drift alliance!
he's a nice guy and deserved his win at the first event of the season!
i would like to see some corvettes out there too!
there was one in a lower series owned and built by a japanese team! haha
they made it kind of ugly, but im sure they could tell me what shoes to get for the ebrake....
