How to install FAST case gaskets?
I split my FAST for painting and am looking at putting it back together. I was expecting a 1pc replacement gasket, but I see the replacement FAST case gasket is just a roll of tubular gasket.
How does a person cut this gasket to fit? Go once around the perimeter and then each runner is a separate piece?
What kind of sealant should I use where the gasket pieces join?
Can't say I like this design very much. This creates a lot of places where two individual gasket pieces have to join together and is therefore a possible source for leaks. FAST really should have formed a one piece gasket. Instead it appears they took the cheap way out.
