I replaced the three piece air dam or spoiler under the front of my 2003. But it sags at the bend area, where it bends around and goes back along the front nose clip. There are like four or five screws, but none at this bend point and I have a sag right there. And I'm not missing any of the 3mm screws. I bought the heavy duty GM outter end pieces when I replaced the spoiler, but I still have this sag, Mid America has a plastic item # 607-033 that says it will cure this problem, but when i got them their just cheap plastic brackets and they don't do a thing to help rid the sag. If they made out of say 1/16 metal they might work, but plastic doesn't cut it. Any ideas are more than welcome?
Almost sounds like the screw holes on the new dam don't line up exactly to the one's on the car. If you take it off so there's no pressure on it and hold it up there does it sag? If so, then warm it up with a heat gun and mold it to fit. If not then pop a new mounting hole in the rubber dam and see if it fits better.

You might check with Ecklers and see if they sell the reinforcement pieces in metal rather than plastic. Otherwise, a good machine shop might be able to make a set for you.

This seems like the best idea, and if I get a set made out of alumium would work really well !
