Some members have over 100K with the stock clutch. It's hard to say how long one will last because driving styles vary so much.

Driving style is the factor, but I know that I pulled my C5Z clutch out at 55 thousand and it had well over half life. You should be fine because I know many have over 100 k on theirs. If you are really worried you can have them put it on a lift and check the disc thickness by removing the bellhousing inspection cover. When on a lift it only requires 6 bolts or so to be removed.

and btw its a very costly fix I think I spent 1500 on clutch and labor and a few other maint items at the same time

On his 2000 frc, my brother has 160K on original clutch (old guy) but it is hard to get into gear at times...... I put a new one on my 99 frc at 90K....... big differance.........no longer a struggle at times, and I dont smell clutch when I get home............ its a crap shoot honestly when to replace....... save you money to get it done...... I did the LS7 upgrade and love it......
