Some jacka$$ popped my mirror off the mounts. I think they just pushed in on the bottom and it popped out. It is still stuck on the car but onl on one of the mounts. I have the instructions (from the thread below) to remove the mirror and what to look for to fix it. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...r-problem.html
my question is, do I have to remove the mirror from the car to fix this problem? after reading the instructions, I am thinking about skipping the removal and just going to the "remove the mirror with a large flat head" part and then trying to "pop" it back on. can some one advise me on this? also, any particular type of grease to use while I've got this baby apart?
thanks
