Im going to buy th MGW shifter on their site and there is the option for the BRACKET for $25....stupid ?, (lil confused and want to make sure) but is that to buy if I want to only use the stock ****?? I am going to buy the $40 **** they have on the site...so is the bracket needed or do I just need to purchase the $250 assembly and the **** will screw on that???

You order the shifter with either the threaded C5 shaft or the non threaded C6 shaft. The only option is a $25 extra handle which would give you a choice of using either a C5 **** or a C6 ****. I believe the MGW **** is threaded.
Not sure about what bracket you are talking about but I do know that the shifter itself comes, along with the arm itself. The arm is threaded on the **** end and the other end fits over the little stub coming out of the unit. it has a small allen wrench used to tighten it. They supply this wrench if I remember corrrectly - I think mine was a red T-handle.
I'm not sure about what has to be done to use the factory **** because I didn't. I made my own ****. I do like the feel of the **** they sell though, one of my friends has that particular one and it's pretty cool.
