Need to know what to pay for loaded 03 annivers. vert with 17k on the clock. car is very nice condition? whats a going price in this lousy market? thanks! six speed loaded...
No doubt there will be people who disagree, and I will put right up front that I have bias because I own a very similar car, but my private party number for a sale would be 32K.
I turned down a legitimate dealer offer of 29.5K only a few month ago during this lousy market.

If you are talking the AE red Anniversary edition they are going on ebay for between $25 to $30,000.00 depending upon mileage and condition. Given the current economic conditions there are 5+ sellers for every buyer
See sig for AE red Color.
Try this to get a feel for asking prices of A/Es nationwide. Go to Autotrader.com ( or other major site that taps into this large database of used listings - Carfinder, etc. ), punch in; 2003, Chevrolet, Corvette, Convertible, then in advanced search options: check the colors red and burgundy, and type the word "anniversary'' in the " search keyword " box. A few torch reds may show up, but overall you'll get 40 to 50 cars, half will have milage in the high teens to low 20's. These cars are priced at $28,999 to $33,999. There were over 7,000 A/E verts produced and 4,055 coupes with the 1SC Anniversary package of the 35,000 total 03s built. Manual Trans was a $1500 option that added to the price new, Verts added $5000 over the Coupe new. Good Luck, as always, work the best deal you can, asking prices need to start somewhere.
Selling, 28-30.
Buying, 23-25.
I think some of these numbers posted are crazy, but you never know. I was talking with someone recently who paid what I thought was way too much money for a much older vert, so you never know.
It depends on how bad you need/want to buy or sell.
Good luck.
