Default GHL Install Question - is this correct?

I am installing my new GHL exhaust and I put the tips on and noticed the left set almost comes to the center and the right side set is too far right. I pulled the tips off and noticed the left side is 2 1/4" longer than the right side tips. Is this right and if so what am I doing wrong - the muffler position is set by the hangers, they cant move.

I think you unfortunately have your mufflers on the opposite (wrong) sides.

Look at #58 - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...-shipping.html

When I had my system installed the right side tips just wouldn"t line up. The were equal in length but just the way they were welded, the angles were off. I contacted the vendor and GHL made good with a new set of tips. Haven't gotten time to replace the originals but I felt their service was top notch.

They are 100 % correct

Those are correct, the pass side is longer than the D/S

Start by loosening up your whole system all the way back to the H/X pipe.

Also lube up the inside and out side of the slip overs joints to insure that
the system is slid all the way together at the joints

The system is not Asymmetric.

You will also notice that the hangers are different lengths from the ends of the can.

I've hung at least 8 in the last two weeks.

Regards
Chip
