I found an 04 z06 one owner with 23k for 25,000 at a dealership and this was at the beginning of the recession. I would say just keep your eyes peeled for better deals or get it at 26k.

You're the one paying for the car. Only you can decide if its to high or not. If you've looked at other cars and you've looked this one over real good and you think that's a fair price then buy it. But don't be in too much of a hurry to buy, its a buyers market right now. There are a lot of C5 for sale to choose from.

There is a difference in price between a car that is somewhere out there with a low price and a car that is right in front of you. Price is only one factor to evaluate. The condition of the car and whether you like the color combo and equipment are important factors. If you have reason to believe that the seller is reputable that increases the value. This is only one place to do your research. Look KBB and NADA and most importantly look at comparable car that you have reasonably near to you. Then have the confidence to trust your decision.
