TC will also save your azz when you get too excited and think you can drive like a race car driver. Or -it will completely embarrass you when you try to look cool in front of your friends, whichever way you want to look at it

Glad things turned out OK. The safety features of the C5 are awesome - have saved my butt a few times.

I took a road trip shortly after getting the car. Was cruisng about 70 on an interstate in some light rain when it really started coming down. All of sudden the car started to feel strange and I realized it was applying the brakes and cutting the power automatically because the wheels started to loose traction and the car was hydroplaning slightly. All I could remember was thinking WOW! what a great car!

Its really neat when you take a corner really fast and can feel the brakes coming on to keep you from loosing it.

Traction Control - don't leave home without it!

That's why they are losing Vipers every week. No stability control and a heavier front end. Apply too much power and they will swap ends in a instant.

Yup, it will save your butt in an unexpected situation

Just remember to shut it off if you intend to repeatedly "explore the limits" of what the car can do.

Applying one brake (especialy a rear when you are on the power) to slow the whole car is hell on the brake/rotor.

Ask me how I know

But it does work.

You got that right Bro!!

My 94 Trans Am GT was a BI*CH in the rain, and then to add insult to injury, after many miles of not using the breaks, they would ALWAYS be wet and not work AT ALL for about 100 yards.

TC and AH are the BOMB
