Overdrive issue
I have an automatic C5 coupe and it seems to shift oddly halfway through 2nd and I seem to have no overdrive. The shifting in 2nd isn't jolting or anything, it just seems to shift long before it needs to. As far as the overdrive, I'll be cruising and then floor it and nothing happens. I'm used to overdrive jumping in and giving me an additional kick in the pants in other cars I've driven. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mine sounds very similar it shifts 2nd to 3rd around 50 lugging the engine and when you jump on it in overdrive it doesn't downshift quick enough.I have left it to the nature of the factory tune.I figure on doing some more mods before seeing Chuck at COW for a tune.I think its the whole torque management deal myself.For the most part I use overdrive to save fuel averaging 21 or so locally and 3rd for the fun stuff.Hope this helps.

You don't have to wait for mods to get the tune done...all my updates after mods are free of charge. No need for you not to enjoy the car before you do all the mods.
