Those tires look really strange to me, almost like they don't fit on the wheel properly.

Saving $700 to 800 I can live with it. Fine for DD in this economy.

I was a fan of these tires for the longest time. Now that mine have a little over 15k miles on them they are becoming pretty noisey. There is plenty of tread left on them but the road noise is getting worse. Guess I really cant complain though, they are definitely priced right but I will probably dig into the pockets and get a better tire next time. They almost look to small on our rims even though I have standard sizes on both rims.

Why not get a set of nitto's? they are priced almost the same as the wideovals and outperform them in every aspect?

The wideovals are a strange tire....

wo look strange because of the rim protector sticking out, otherwise same width etc.

My rear wide ovals have 40k miles on them and the front just over 45k miles. I paid around 700 for the set and other than being stupid and curbing one once which I might add did not damage the rim due to the design they are a fine daily driver tire and good in rain. I dont care what they look like they serve their purpose.
