Default Vararam VR-B2 CAI

Just wondering what you guys think of the Vararam VR-B2 cold air intake.

I had mine for a year and I loved it. I was able to feel the noticable increase in horsepower after mine was installed last year by the Vette Doctors.

Recently, I did an engine swap and added a supercharger, so I no longer need my Vararam.

If anyone is interested in mine, check here...

Interested to hear everyone's experiences with the Vararam CAI systems

Uh oh!! You opened a can of worms! The guys that have never looked at the system will start jumping in with the input of bad threads they read.

Personally I love it. Yes it took a while to install, but it's not that hard with patience, beer, and good instructions. I even took a customer's call while doing it and finished in good time.

You can def. feel a difference when you punch it (A4 here).

Vararam is also a good company to work with. They provide full technical support for the product and stand behind it.

Same here. It's the best way to get the coolest air possible, IMHO.

I would love to get one, but I could never install it, I do not have those kind of skills. Maybe I can hook up with a local person when I buy one and we can get it one.

It seems like it provides the best increase in power, from what I have read anyways.

It's not that bad. It just takes patience. I'm sure someone in your area would love to help you.

Had mine about a year now and love it. I have already cleaned the filter once. I plan on doing it again soon. Track results don't lie. I gained just over .3 and 4mph in the quarter.

Overall fit and finish leaves a lot on the table but the product works.

Don't sell yourself short! If you can jack a car up and turn a wrench, you'll be just fine! Don't just drive your car, take pride in wrenching on it yourself.

Also, why don't you need the vararam anymore? you can't hook the vararam up with the sc?
